English Trivia: Afternoon tea is a light meal typically eaten between 3pm and 5pm. It originated in the UK when Catherine of Braganza married Charles II in 1661 and brought the practice of drinking tea in the afternoon with her from Portugal. Traditionally, loose tea is served in a teapot with milk and sugar accompanied by various sides such as cucumber sandwiches.

Note: This is a handmade cold-process soap that has cured for at least a month. Because it is handmade & hand cut, the soap's appearance may vary from the image in this listing. Because my soaps are made with a high percentage of olive oil and butters, they may be prone to taking longer to dry out in the shower. Therefore, when soap is not in use, keep it in a cool, airy, & dry environment. Storage on a soap dish with slots is recommended.
