Some of the new flowers I got in have colors that I haven't been able to ascribe to any know variety alive, ergo the Dead Rose Society.

The second somber offering is in a familiar frock but shows a face that can only be described in color as Ashes of Roses. This was actually a very popular color in Victorian Society with their penchant and delight in all things mourning named the same.

I think it's sophisticated, like khaki or camel that had a dip in a pool with a bit too much chlorine. Lovely, really. Her sisters, Lavender Blue Ribbon Girl and Victorian Rose have enjoyed popularity. Now it's Ashes' turn. Give her a twirl on your dance card.

Pin back of lace skirt allows her to be used on a hat, scarf, frock or cuff.

You are getting one floral and lace brooch with a single rose. Picture shows the variety of tones making these all OOAK.
