A query from an Etsy friend set me off to find some decent veiling. Believe me, this is not an easy task. I finally tracked down a supplier who isn't all that outrageous with the prices of the precious stuff. Ounce for ounce, I'd bank on veiling and leave the gold!

Now I'm adding hard to find crin or horsehair trim for you hatters who're having a time finding it. Crin is a stiff nylon open Jacob's ladder weave that has some give and stretch. You can find this in European hat shops gracing the most stylish of seasonal hats.

Use it as a huge looped fillip on your Juliet styled fascinators and hats with a single curled coque. Luscious!
