Description
Strips of copper are formed- This is called anti-clastic forming. That is when a concave curved is formed then that curve is curved. All hand shaped by myself, blisters on my hand to prove it! They are still lightweight considering the width and stay in place. This pair is one of my custom blends graduating from a field of greens thru shades of turquoise/sky blue with white clouds. Numerous firings are needed to produce this shading and layers of color. Polish sterling handcrafted ear wires.Total drop: a bit over 1-1/16"

Enameling is fusing glass to metal, in this case copper. Each piece is fired multiple times including the back.
