This one is a destash--it was part of a lot of 2 bodies, but I only needed one.

It's about 15" tall, so could probably make a doll 20" or a bit taller. It could be either a young girl or boy.

It is jointed at shoulders, hips, elbows, knees, and wrists, but not ankles, and is in what I think of as a Victorian style, with short arms (though not legs in this case) and small hands and feet. Beautifully and smoothly finished and ready for use.

If you have a head lying around (as I did) waiting for the right body, or if you've always wanted to do something with a larger ball-jointed body, and/or a porcelain body--well, here's your chance for whatever you have in mind, and at about the currect price for the latest 10" dollfie or about 1/4 or less the price of a larger one.

Porcelain, of course, in addition to its more traditional uses, can be colored with various paints (heat set Pebeo or Lumiere comes to mind), makeup, some pencils, permanent markers, alcohol inks, and who knows what else--use your imagination!

This doll body came from the estate of an older dollmaker (that's all I know) and has apparently been in storage for at least 20-30 years. A new head and an identity would be wonderful additions.
