print of illustration - mend and make do- 7x7

Description

This is a digital print of an original pen and ink drawing done my myself (Paula Mills). A message to remind us of the art of mending - isn't it sad that in our generation, if a sock gets a hole we just chuck it out and buy new socks? Maybe we should revisit the art of darning and mending - try and make things last a little longer before adding them to ever expanding landfills. Apparently it was the the needlework involved in mending that brought on the art of embroidery :)

Each print is a high quality, using archival inks, on A4 matte heavyweight, bright white card, which will be signed and dated. The actual artwork measures around 18cmx18cm (7x7 inches). A white border will be left for framing.

The print will be posted in a sturdy envelope with board and covered with cello to protect the print. Items will be shipped within 24 hours during business days.
