Description

These vintage glass pears (from the 1970s) are two-tone, from deep amethyst purple at the border,to almost clear at the center. Like the other jewels I have in this color, these jewels have a back coating that adds a hint of texture and shimmer to the glass. Very pretty!

They measure approx. 16mm (just under a little over 5/8") x 12mm wide (approx. 1/2"). These are a terrific size for earrings - and each teardrop would also make a gorgeous necklace focal.

I've placed each jewel in a natural brass one-ring setting with a soft vintage patina. Of course, like all brass, these settings contain no nickel and are friendly to the skin.
