smiths please please please... cross-stitched

Description

i've wanted to do this one for-ever.
and now i have and i'm quite pleased with it.

smiths lyric "please please please let me get what i want this time" cross-stitched in black floss onto a background of white. the finished piece is mounted/framed within an 8.5 inch diameter wooden embroidery hoop. it's ready to hang on the wall as-is, or you can prop it on a shelf or a ledge with other treasures. i really like how the words are quietly understated... the simple black on white with the script-like letter-style and the white space around it was almost exactly what i was going for -- yes!

the photos are terrible -- sorry, it's really dark and rainy here today and i felt too impatient to wait for better photo-taking conditions.

**update - the original of this piece sold at the renegade chicago event. this listing is for a stitched-to-order piece. please allow up to two weeks for delivery. one perk to this, though, is that if you would like it to be done with white lettering on a black backgound, i can do that; just let me know in the notes to seller that it's what you would like.
