Felted Wool Wall Sculpture (Chocolate Tentacled Pod with Felted Balls)

This fine art piece measures 42" long (top to bottom); the pod itself measures 12" in height. The handmade sculpture is designed to hang on a wall and has a loop at the top to do so.

The main body of this piece was painstakingly needle-felted, while the tentacles and felted balls were both needled felted and wet felted. The sculpture is made entirely of wool; primarily dark brown Welsh; it is filled with pink, orange, and earth shades of wet-felted balls.

This is one-of-a-kind and one of my favorites. It will bring the peacefulness of wild places into any art or nature lover's home.
