Bright Horizon
Description
Bright Horizon is an original one off textile art piece made using wet felt and needle felt techniques.Inspired by my love of the sea and the West Coasts of Scotland and Ireland.
The background is hand felted using merino wool. I have added some angelina fibre, silk fibre, Wensleydale locks and hand spun yarn from the Isle of Skye into the sea to give added texture.
The foreground is needle felted by hand.
The piece comes ready mounted and framed as shown. Frame measures 23.5 x 32.5cm and can be free standing or hung on the wall.
