VICTORIAN BRIDAL BASKET

This is a fine old piece.>Silver Bridal Basket
A bridal basket is suited to a lower style of flower arrangement in keeping with the trend at the end of the Victorian era.<
It was made by the Van Bergh S P Co of Rochester, NY.
It has the # 301 on the bottom.
The rest I have that are similar have a 1898 patent date on them. I am not sure if this is the same.
The foot of this is dented on one side, effecting 1& 1/4".
It possibly could be unbent.
There are a couple of dings in the basket.
A fine Victorian piece non the less.
Measures:8& 1/2" across x 2& 3/4" high. With the handle raised it is about 9".
