This broody hen is ready to hunker down in the branches of your Christmas tree.

Her little red nesting box is 1 1/2 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 3/4 inches deep. The white needle felted chicken fits inside, nestled in a bit of straw colored wool. The chicken is removable and ready to be coddled in gentle hands (but needs help staying upright). The nesting box is stitched together with pale yellow pearl cotton, knotted twice at the top.

And if you just can't bear to tuck her away for a whole year once the holidays are over, she'd look lovely in your Easter tree!
