In commemoration of the historic election year and inauguration, I felt it was only appropriate to use some of my favorite inspiring words from our President, Barack Obama.

This tiny white ceramic bowl is hand made and hand stamped with the words "WHILE WE BREATHE, WE HOPE" as heard in Obama's Acceptance Speech on November 4, 2008.

The original phrase, first used by Cicero, expresses that hope must be an eternal flame in our hearts- as individuals, as a nation, and as a world, we will never reach our goals and dreams if we do not hold onto Hope.

Perfect on a dresser or desk, to catch jewelry and all of life's little treasures. A wonderful gift for yourself or for someone special.

Each piece is hand-crafted of fine pure white clay, and fired in our kiln; they have a protective matte finish applied to the surface and are designed for decorative use only.
The backside is marked "words of Barack Obama 2008."

Each bowl measures approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter...it fits nicely in the palm of your hand.
Note that each bowl is individually made to order, and therefore variations will occur...your bowl may not look exactly like the one in the photo.
