Child's Chair (hand painted . wooden . Versailles inspired)
Description
12"W x 12"D x 26"H, seat height 14"Made of solid wood, this closed back style chair is designed for children ages two to seven. This item is MADE IN THE USA from wood obtained from environmentally responsible suppliers. All paints and finishes are lead and phthalate free and are 100% "green" and eco-friendly.
This design was inspired by my trip to Versailles this summer (the Louis-Phillipe family room, to be exact) and has been intricately hand painted to resemble a chair from that gilded era. The chair back features an ornate heraldic crest which awaits a special princess' initial (an example has been photoshopped into one of the photos). The chair seat is covered with a hand made cushion of designer French inspired fabric and is machine washable/line dry. The background color is bright, lemony yellow with accents of light turquoise, robin's egg blue and metallic gold. Feel free to contact me prior to ordering with any questions.
