I've just been itching to make something medieval-ly, so this is it. This large black journal has a bit of hand carving around the edges. It closes with two chestnut colored fleur de lis snaps. The book measures approximately 9" x 6". The paper is a beautiful unlined acid/lignin free linen/cotton blend in ivory.
