Special Order for eebarnes, Alpaca Convertible Fingerless Gloves Mittens with Thumb Flaps

Hot off my hooks are these truly luscious pair of convertible gloves with thumb flaps made with all natural 100% pure alpaca yarn. This yarn is imported from Peru, renowned for spinning the finest alpaca in the world. Alpaca is said to be an alternative for people with wool sensitivity and is 3X warmer than wool.

This pair is reserved for "eebarnes" and are made in Brown Heather


These are crocheted using a tight thermo stitch so are fairly dense, with ample flap overlap to keep in the warmth.

The idea for thumb flaps was given to me by a customer after trying to use a pen while wearing her new convertible gloves.

With a flick of your finger you can open the thumb flap and use a pen without removing your gloves. Or pop both thumb flaps and you can text away on your cell!!

The gloves are modeled on my 7.5" hand. :)

To find out your glove size measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Also measure around your palm at the knuckles. The measurements are usually the same, but if not, go by the larger number or compare to what I've listed.

There is a loop and button to keep the flap back on each glove when going fingerless. I try hard to find just the right buttons to accent each pair of gloves.
