Merino Convertible Fingerless Gloves Mittens with Thumb Flaps in Paprika Tweed , Size 6.5 to 7.25

Hot off my hook are these wonderful convertible gloves with thumb flaps made with a pure Merino wool yarn in the color, "Paprika Tweed".

I've been tweaking my design(again) resulting in a slightly longer cuff and fingers which reach the knuckle.

These are crocheted using a tight thermo stitch so are fairly dense, with ample flap overlap to keep in the warmth.

The idea for thumb flaps was given to me by a customer after trying to use a pen while wearing her new convertible gloves.

With a flick of your finger you can open the thumb flap and use a pen without removing your gloves. Or pop both thumb flaps and you can text away on your cell!!

This pair measures about 8"(20.3cm) in diameter and 7"(17.8cm) from wrist to tip of mitt without any stretching. These should fit a hand 6.5" to 7.25"(16.5-18.4cm) in size. These mitts will fit a hand a bit wider than it is long. The cuffs are about 3.5"(8.9cm)long.

Modeled on my 7.5" hand.

To find out your glove size measure from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger. Also measure around your palm at the knuckles. The measurements are usually the same, but if not, go by the larger number or compare to what's listed. If you have any question about how these gloves will fit your hand just send me your measurements.

There is a loop and button to keep the flap back on each glove when going fingerless. I try hard to find just the right buttons to accent each pair of gloves.
