Description

Vintage 50s / 60s Liberty cateye eyeglasse frames in a warm caramel tone with golden bow accents embossed at each corner, and a rhinestone-like, florette-embossed stud (see detail). The frames seem to glow, as they are more transparent at back; so flattering for the face. These are really so lovely and in terrific vintage condition.

Please note the color at the face is most like that in the third and last picture; again, they really glow because of the fade at back. They have some minor surface wear, mostly at the nose piece, but the plastic material has maintained its overall gloss and they are among the best I have seen of this age, of those that have been worn. They will need minor adjustments to fit your face and tighten the arms to your liking -- please review pics to see that one arm is raised more than the other; when I tried them on, they were comfortable.

These are an incredible mix of down-to-earth and luxe.

They currently contain prescription lenses, which can be removed to accomodate your correct prescription (or sunglasses).

Vintage items have been used, so please expect normal wear; eyeglasses will require minor adjusting or tightening.

I am a die-hard eyeglass wearer (who comes from a long line of such!), don't know if you cared to learn that ... but, I have been collecting and wearing these things since I was a tot, so please know that I am with you all the way when it comes to comfort and wearability -- for all items, but especially for glasses, fashion accessory for the most prominent of features -- your face!
