Frida Kahlo was born Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo y Calderón. Her works became most widely known after her death and she has since become emblematic of the struggle of creative women against themselves.

Taken from three of her own works, these self-portraits are remarkable on these enamel pendants. Each pendant measures 7/8 inch wide and 1-1/4 inch long.

Made of vitreous enamel, each pendant is assembled by hand, so please allow for some variability. Equally beautiful as jewelry or as an art element in a shrine or assemblage, these special pieces are conservatively priced for such elegant craftsmanship.
