Pink lampwork bead earrings

OK, I admit it. I have a weakness for lampwork beads. I LOVE them! I can't stop myself from buying them...maybe it's an addiction! I'm just so amazed that a real, live person takes rods of colored glass and heats it up with a torch until it's molten, and makes gorgeous beads out of it! It's so fascinating!

And as much as I don't want to share, it's a lesson I learned very young, so I'm sharing some of my favorite beads with you. I've showcased them as simple earrings, put together with sterling silver wire. I've made all of the metal components myself, including the earwires.

This particular pair of earrings has my version of a simple French wire, finished with a pretty scroll on the front. A beautiful set of lampwork beads dangles from them. The beads have a base color of a light, pale pink, with an equator of a brighter pink. They are VERY cute, flirty and feminine. The color is actually closer in shade to the first picture.
