Description

Dark Brown Italian leather.

I use these skins to do my own bookbinding. They work wonderfully because they are very thin and supple. The thickness is about 0.8 oz-1 oz. They work great on case bindings but can be used for a variety of other purposes like purses, clothing, baby booties and other sewing projects. You can use it on your regular sewing machine.

Size: 7.25 sq ft as stamped by the tannery (meaning when stretched)

You can iron the Leather. Just place it face down, suede side up to iron. I use Medium-High Heat. I place a sheet of craft paper over the suede as I iron to help keep my iron clean and the leather from marking. Do not place the iron on the top side as it is sealed and may melt.

I can combine shipping on orders of multiple hides, depending on the quantity ordered and size of the hides.

United States: I can send one hide Priority Mail for only $5. If you would like more than one hide I can combine shipping and I will refund you if the shipping comes to more than $2 over.

Everywhere else:

I can fit one hide in the International Flat Rate Envelope which goes Priority (6-10 days). If you would like more than one hide please convo me and I'll see what other options there are. I can also send it First Class if you prefer. Thanks!
