Butterflywing Distressed Wedding Gown - Fits XS to S

She liked the snow on her nose and tongue when it first fell and wore little ballet slippers even when she was not dancing. She liked summer nights and crickets and the sound of ocean waves against the pier. She never ate sushi but made awesome italian dishes. She wore her hair up with a tiny sprig of foliage and a little pen and notebook to write down her ideas. She dreamed of a prince with kind eyes and the tiniest freckles on his nose. When he came, she knew it was him by his smile and gentleness and set right to dreaming of their life to come.

I made this distressed dress of gossamer wings and shiny sunbeams mixed with butterfly dreams and a dash of summer sewn into the lining.

Actually it is reconstructed from a previous linen dress which I altered completely and added lots of pieces of lace and sheer fabric in white and ecru. It has a beaded lined bodice and a deep vee shaped back with a crossed sheer inset. It's waist is covered with sheer draping. The base has sheer and lace panels and has a small sheer train. It has a little bustle. It is a bit loosefitting at the waist in the back and shows the small of your back. Skirt is unlined It has many distressed and raw edges. It is completely one of a kind and cannot be reproduced. If you love it, contact me and I may be able to make a confection in your size that you'll love.

Length - 60"L approx.(152.4cm)Shorter height will be fine, fabric will puddle in wisps on the floor, but you will be able to walk without tripping.
Train is 57"L(144.8cm) from back waist and will vary according to your height. Shown on a Small dress form set at 57"L(144.8cm)from the shoulder. This is meant to be worn naturally and will not work with a crinoline. You may want to wear a short halfslip.

Dry clean only. Hang out in the shower or steam to relax wrinkles. Do not iron trim.
