Handbuilt, Footed Sushi Set, Peach Blossoms
Description
Individual Sushi set handmade white stoneware. Large plate is approximately 6 3/4" X 4 3/4", the Shoyu dish is 3 1/2" square. Chop stick rest is 1 1/2". The Peach blossoms were stamped into the clay and painted with a light green underglaze. Then a clear glaze was applied and the set was high fired to cone six (2232F). Yes, chop sticks are included.It is not unusual in Japan for each family member to have his/her own individual set.
You can special order these sets but since they are handmade and hand painted they will not be exactly the same.
