Everyday Charcoal Herringbone Tweed with Silk Lining Cloche Hat - Medium

Here is my everyday Charcoal Tweed version of the classic cloche.
I have teamed up with the lovely Yunie Tjong (seamstress) to create my hats and gloves.
This hat is so versatile and can be worn autumn, winter and spring. Of course, charcoal goes with just about everything. It's nice to have a neutral hat that doesn't fight with your outfits. This hat is also soft and supple, will fold easily, go in and out of bags and is great for travel.
Cloche hats are bell shaped and were popular in the 1920's. I like to wear mine pulled down just above the eyes, and sometimes flipped up at the front (the black lining shows) for a different look.
The outer Tweed is a charcoal herringbone Ploy Wool mix and the black lining is 100% silk habutai - so nice to the touch. There is a little split in the back of the hat and top stitching detailing the brim of the hat. I have placed my peek-a-boo tree motif label on the upper inside back of the hat (so only you know it is there, kinda like cute underwear!) This tree motif is similar to some of my paintings. It adds a little uniqueness without spoiling the simplicity of the hat (add a little art to you everyday!)
Of course all seams are properly finished. This hat is a medium.

Please Measure your head size first to ensure the right fit.
Start with tape measure at the centre of the for head on the hairline. Run tape around head, under the bulge at the back of your head (just above your hairline) and back to the front again to meet the tape measure. This measurement is your correct head size. Average head size measurements range from 21 to 23 inches.
21" = small
22" = medium
23" = large
Please note that hats fit people differently depending on how you like to wear it and the shape of your head.
