.....Ah, our Victorian cousins! How wrong they got it. They realised the jaunty appeal of the bustle, but if only they'd put it at the front rather than behind. Maybe then they'd have been able to actually sit down. That'd have given them something to smile about...

Unusual 1940s dress pattern by McCall. Beautiful tie at front peplum is cut in one with skirt side back. Basque back bodice. Choice of sleeve variations: long, three quarter push up, or short.

Printed pattern pieces are unused and still in their original factory folds! Instructions are present.

The envelope is in reasonably good condition, a little discolored from age with a few tiny tears and wear around the edge.
