Alpaca - Merino White Top/Roving - 2 ounces

Description

This amazing top, prepared at Zeilinger's Mill in Frankenmuth, MI, is hard to describe: soft, bright white, noiless, very spinnable to a gorgeous yarn. Of course, it will also felt fine.

The alpaca donor is Target, a handsome, white herdsire who lives with Jenn and Chris at Diversified Alpacas in St. Louis, Michigan. The merino is from lambs at Genopalette, who have a shop here on Etsy.

Usually I have my fleeces put into roving, but Gary at Zeilingers convinced me to try top. I'm amazed how smooth it is. You can visit where I blogged about it here: http://northstaralpacas.blogspot.com
