SALE Local tweedy wool roving MISTIQUE 2 oz.
Description
Originally $9 - sale $6First, local Coopworth wool was cleaned and blended with multicolored weaving thrums to create roving. Then, I overdyed this custom blended roving in warm rose/plum/mauve to create 'Mistique,' which will spin up into a tweedy yarn with flecks of many colors.
The wool in this blend comes from a small farm in West Virginia (read more about this farm on my blog at http://wildharedaily.wordpress.com/2008/10/09/now-and-forevermore-farm/).
This listing is for two ounces. Coopworth is a long, lustrous wool considered "all purpose." It felts well, and is easy to spin.
