Vintage gold decoupage ring trinket box Italian style

Description

This pretty little trinket box is just the right size for a ring or two. It is made of wood with a plaster decorative trim that has been gold-leafed or painted and antiqued. I believe this box was made in Italy, but the sticker or manufacturing information has been removed. The decoupaged picture of the Madonna, has some slight wear and surface scratches. The gold paint has chipped off the plaster underlay in several spots. The box has been painted red on the interior. The size is about 3" long by 2 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" high.
