The Starcatcher (Print)

Description

This a reproduction print of one of my original mixed media paintings. It is 8.5" X 11"/21.59 cm x 27.94 cm, which includes a white border around all sides.

It's printed with fade resistant HP Vivera inks on a heavy weight luster stock that is water resistant and lightfast with a semi-glossy, ever-so-slightly shimmery finish, which makes the bright colors absolutely dazzling.

Prints are signed and dated on the back and shipped in an archival protective sleeve within a stiff mailer.

This is Amaya, who has a very special, very important job.

She's one of the very few remaining starcatchers.

Starcatchers live in the night sky and are responsible for, well, catching stars...to be exact, for catching the falling stars that people below have wished upon.

These stars must be guarded very carefully, because they're not merely stars any longer -- they're today's hopes and dreams and tomorrow's realities...they're happily ever afters and the beginnings of whole new worlds. Amaya and the other starcatches (including her twin brother, Aidan), keep these stars safe and sound, nuturing and caring for them, until all of the the wishes entrusted to them come true.

So next time you wish on a star, just remember, up amongst the clouds, one of those starcatchers just may be reaching out to grasp your heart's desire in their little but strong hands, to hold on with you, faithfully and full of hope.

So wish and wait. Just you wait. Wishes do come true.
