Dive into the blue and meet the enchantress of the deep. It doesn't matter the season, somewhere, playing amidst the waves is this beautiful mermaid...and her treasure.

My Mermaid is just about 9" long. Her hair cascades down her back in merino waves of copper and is adorned with a fuchsia flower and tendrils of sea vegetation! Her tail is detailed with scales of peach, fuchsia, pink and hints of orange...

Inside her arms and tail, there is a wire which allows for her to be gently posed. Will she swim, bask in the sun or swim over and wave hello?

In the Waldorf style, her face is featureless, allowing for your imagination to decide her mood and expression.

She will arrive with her treasure: a real seashell (not pictured). Perhaps she will enhance a nature table... or become an heirloom collectible for generations to come. For sure, she will inspire imaginative and gentle play. Though the Mermaid is firmly felted, she is quite soft to the touch ...but not edible! (She and her treasure are not meant for children 3 and under as it may become a choking hazard.I suggest 4+ years old and up.)

This unique wool sculptured creation has been hand crafted from scratch using hundreds of pokes with a felting needle. No patterns, glue or thread were used....just a thousand hand pricks with the felting needle. Copyright 2009
