Woven Bracelet - Gold Filled

Description

This bracelet was completely woven by hand using an ancient pattern. It started as a single gold filled wire and was woven using nothing more than a pair of pliers, an awl, and my hands. After weaving it was drawn (pulled through a hole in a metal plate) to even out the weave and annealed to make it more flexible. I finished it off by soldering on 2 jump rings (that are soldered closed) and adding a gold filled lobster claw clasp. It is a great design for women or men.

Gold filled consists of a layer of 14k gold over a brass core. It is a great alternative for those who love gold but have trouble affording solid gold.

Bracelet size: 7.5" including clasp
Weave width: about 3mm

Though I would accept custom orders for this style in different lengths, sold gold, or sterling silver; I don't plan on making more of these for stock at this time.
