Sweet little pink crocheted pincushion with floral print top

Description

This little pincushion is so sweet and will be the perfect little addition to your sewing box.

It's crocheted with handspun 100% wool (spun by me on a drop spindle) in a cheerful pink and orange 2-ply blend of wool.

The inside is stuffed with polyfil. The top is a scrap of floral fabric with a pretty pink, red, orange and light apple green print. The middle has a vintage red button with an orange flower and 2 light apple green white leaves cut out of wool felt sewn in place underneath.

The button has been sewn straight through to the bottom with sturdy pink pearl cotton thread so that the pincushion sits nicely - ie. the bottom isn't too rounded so that it might topple over.

This pincushion has my needle book tag sewn into the side in a loop so this item could be used as an ornament.

It comes with the four glass head pins in coordinating colours. This pincushion has my needle book tag sewn in so it could be used to display as an ornament.

The diameter is just under 2.5", this is a wee item, pictured with stork embroidery scissors and a thimble to give you an idea of the size. The brown crocheted pincushion in the last picture is also for sale in my shop.

This is a handmade one-of-a-kind (OOAK) item. Makes a lovely gift!
