Description

One-of-a-kind spinning batt blended from mostly local fibers -- wool, llama, mohair, dyed locks, other fibers, including, in this batt, a touch of angelina for sparkle. A rich blend of different colors and textures, added in layers so that different colors blend and surprise.

I like to spin these by separating into lengthwise strips and pre-drafting slightly. Spin bulky, spin thin and ply, corespin -- anyway you like! Get two different (or similar) batts and combine them in one yarn for even more fun. Each one is unique - I call them hurricane batts because they're such a crazy unpredictible blend but also give them a nice little name to help tell them apart (like in naming hurricanes, I follow the alphabet for the starting letter of the name).
