I loved snow days as a kid. And this painting really captures the joy of snow that has just brought this snow man to life. She invites him inside to sip hot cocoa and play scrabble by a toasty fire. Wouldn't you like to join them?

This is an original collage of vintage wallpapers, gold origami papers from my Great Aunt June’s collection, and mixed media I found in my studio.

Her face is hand painted using lots of materials for a beautiful mixed media effect. On top of the alchemy of materials, I applied an antique decoupage finish to give the piece a wonderful vintage look, full of story and magic that can best be appreciated in the close-up shots.

Signed by me, Artist and Illustrator Juliette Crane, this original measures 10" x 10" on stretched canvas. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas and comes gift wrapped just for you. It is ready to hang right out of the box!
