100% Natural British Gotland Lambs Wool from this years clip.

This is a first shearing and is very soft. The Fleece has been cleaned before shearing to remove major debris, but still has some of the natural 'oils' remaining. This is Ideal for Felting or Spinning. Do make a note of the beautiful curls when you use this wonderful fleece, as it will make the most amazing texture!

Thought to have orginally been bred by the Vikings, the Gotland is a Northern Short Tailed Shhep, similar to Shetland and Icelandic breeds. They fleece is wonderfully lustrous and comes in a wide range of steely greys and silvers. The wool fibre is extremely warming and will spin and felt in to the most wonderful products, including slippers, jumpers and cushions.
