21x21 square Haboti silk scarf with two sunflowers painted on it with a watercolor affect, this is a signed wearable work of art.

It starts out as white silk and then I put it on stretcher frames, now it is like a canvas. At this point I paint on it with french silk dyes. It is an original signed work of art. Slight irregularities in the silk and dye is what makes each piece unique and valuable adding to the fact that they are hand painted and one of a kind. Although subjects are sometimes repeated each is done from scratch and is an original painting. Productions are limited. The color is fixed for permanency if properly cared for. They should be dry cleaned or hand washed with mild soap and air dried and lightly iron. They are really quite sturdy.
Silk is know for it's warmth, they make long johns out of silk. It gives nice warmth with no bulk. It is also breathable so can be worn in the summer without making you hot. Silk is very versatile that way.

You can hang it on the wall or wear it or both. Wearable art!
