Waiting for the Rain - Original Oil Painting Landscape Miniature 4x4

It is that time of year here in the Northwest. We wait for the rain which is usually not far behind, once the leaves start to fall!

This miniature landscape is only 4"x4" big! Finished with a 2 inch deep birch wood edge (visible from the sides), and ready to hang no frame necessary! The image is painted in oil on a museum grade panel, embellished with a crackled surface to give it a subtle texture and finished with a varnish.

Due to the depth of the wood it sits easily on it's base on any book shelf or flat surface, or you can hang it in a traditional manner by using the wire on the back. These pieces look really nice hung in a small group of 2 or more too!
