Freehand Custom Silhouette Portrait Papercutting

Description

In the tradition of many early American silhouette artists, my silhouettes are cut freehand-- no shadows, no tracing, no Photoshop-- just a keen eye and terribly sharp little scissors.

How it works:
You send me an image or two taken in profile against a neutral background from about 4 feet away. Be sure to include head and shoulders with mouth closed in a natural position. I cut your portrait from lovely matte French black silhouette paper (or other color) and send you a proof. Once you are happy with the cutting, I mount it archivally on 4"x6" museum board. Then I pack it up snugly in a little envelope and mail it to you. Frame is not included.
