Vintage Typewriter Key Ring, the Asterisk key

Authentic Vintage typewriter key - the Asterisk Key - has been set in a beautiful 15mm silver plated and oxidized lace edge setting. It has been set on a silver plate ring, which is adjustable, from size 7 to 9.

Most of these typewriter keys date from the 1900's to the 1940's. Although these keys have been cleaned and polished,
vintage typewriter keys show wear - these are antiques, after all!
As I work with them I can't help but imagine what letters, college papers, newspaper articles - were written with them.

Please note that my camera, with the extreme close ups, pics up tiny flaws that are not visible to the naked eye. I think that any imperfections are simply part of the vintage charm of these necklaces. I hope you agree!
