nomad ring

wow!!! as my dad would say: this ring makes my socks roll up and down!

this ring is made for a nomad --- someone whose home is nowhere in particular, though i imagine it's either in the dry deserts... or the final frontier.
that's right, outer space!
it's gonna happen, y'all - and when it does, i hope to hook up with such intrepid, fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants nomads as han solo and mal reynolds....

so this ring is made of sterling silver: the textured dome is appointed with five -count 'em, five!- bezels, each set with a delectable multi-colored garnet, also known as tundra sapphires: the large top stone is a deep dark red, and the four satellites are cherry red, dark pink, golden yellow and pearly green (!!). this dome is in turn set into its own bezel, completing the circle~~

the setting measures 24mm across, and is 12mm high. it sits atop a hammered band, stamped on the inside with the word "nomad". this ring is a size 5-1/2.

rock this ring - - - it transitions beautifully from gritty, dusty pashtun deserts to the air-tight, post-apocalyptic battlestars of future space refuge...
