Snake and leaf wrist warmers

This unique set of arm/wrist warming fingerless gloves features a little piece of Inkyspider textile art. Soft and cuddly, these lightweight wrist/arm warmers will keep your hands warm while your fingers are free to do tasks like type, drive or shop.

Each wrist warmer has an 4 1/2" appliqued leaf shape which has been cut from a hand dyed and screenprinted coiled snake design on linen/rayon. Colours are light gray and dark purple with a purple stitched edge.

These black and light gray gloves are nice and long, coming right up to the elbow. They measure 14" in length and will fit most women's hands, small to X large and they have a thumb hole. They are made of a rayon/nylon/angora stretchy knit.
Seams and edges are exposed and have been serged with contrasting light gray thread.

All of my wrist warmers/ fingerless gloves have been made with repurposed knit fabric from sweaters. I carefully choose fabrics that are soft, warm and stretchy and are made of various types of wool like lambswool, cashmere, angora, merino wool and sometimes blends. The original garments have been meticulously washed, deconstructed and significantly redesigned into beautiful new accessories.
