Wound Up

Description

So last night we had a fire in our furnace, complete with fire trucks and gawking neighbors; and we can't get the part to fix the charred remains for 4 days. No furnace, no heat; and it's the middle of winter.

Is it any wonder I am making cold and edgy bracelets? Nothing warm and fuzzy here.

"Wound Up" is a cacophony of hammered pieces of copper; wound randomly onto an open copper bangle.. It is stark and metallic; but there IS that warmish copper glow about it...

This is getting a little to warm and fuzzy for my mood. And after my great success, tossing "Barbed Wire" http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=20731020 into The Oxidizer and making it super-shiny gunmetal and black; I threw in "Wound Up", too.

But I know you might prefer the natural copper option, so I'm offering both. Just state your preference in the "Message to Seller" box.

I love natural copper because it changes over time; becoming darker and richer as you wear it. Of course, you can polish it; but why?

"Wound Up" is "bendy", and will conform to any wrist. It is lightweight and comfortable, and can mingle beautifully with other wrist adornments.

Each "Wound Up" is unique. Yours might not look *exactly* like the ones in the photos, but it will be very similar; and it will be its own special self. Please note that it is the nature of oxidized metals to exhibit color changes over time. They are natural and beautiful. But if you ever decide that you would like your "Wound Up" re-oxidized to a more uniform finish, just let me know. I'm happy to oblige.
