This adorable purse/shoulder bag is spacious yet fashionable. Match this pattern up with some vibrant fabric, and you’ll be sure to see some heads turn. The main body of the purse measures approximately 15.5 inches tall, 18 inches wide at the bottom, 14.5 inches wide at the opening, and the depth from front to back is very expandable because of the darts and gathers. If you’d like it to stay flat, it will hold it’s shape but if you need to stuff more into the bag…no problem. The strap adds another 17 inches to the height but can easily be shortened/lengthened according to your style.

The purse is fully lined, has 2 inside pockets, and a magnetic snap closure.

You’ll Need:

· 2/3 yard each of 2 coordinating fabrics for exterior and strap
· 1/2 yard of lightweight cotton for the lining
· 1 1/2 yard of sturdy fusible interfacing
· Velcro
· ¾ inch magnetic metal snap (for purses/totes)
· Coordinating thread
