Warm Brown Sugar Soy Upcycled Jar Candles

In an effort to further reduce Chic Earth’s carbon footprint we have started to use upcycled glass jars as part of our Soy Candle collection. We collect our jars by shopping the local thrift stores, flea markets and friends. We then sterilize and clean each container before use.

Why reuse glass containers?:
* Prevent 27.8 pounds of air pollution for every ton
of new glass produced.
*Recycling glass reduces that pollution by 14-20%.
*Recycling glass saves 25-32% of the energy used to
make glass.
* You help reduce the amount of Glass that makes
up about 8% of American municipal garbage. .
*Glass containers save 9 gallons of fuel (oil) for every
ton of recycled glass. Glass containers used for new
glass containers, fiberglass insulation, road beds
(aggregate), concrete block, glass asphalt.
*Recycling one glass bottle saves enough electricity to
light a 100 watt bulb for four hours.

Why choose a soy wax candle?
* No carcinogens are produced from burning soy wax.
* Soy wax is non-toxic.
* Little or no soot is produced from burning soy wax.
* Soy wax will not discolor your walls or furniture
with petroleum by products.
* Soy wax is biodegradable.
* Soy wax is water-soluble (no more messy cleanups).

When warm some customers also tell us they double as excellent body butter. Essential oils used are skin safe oils and 100% hydrogenated soy and will burn at a low 108-115 degrees.

We are suggesting that all soy wax products ship USPS Priority Mail as soy wax has a lower melting point than regular wax and during shipping your product may melt slightly causing the pigment to separate from the soy; this is normal and will not affect the product performance.

Please Note: All care will be taken to ensure all soy products are shipped promptly to ensure arrival with minimal melting. NO REFUND OR REPLACEMENT will be given due to the unique quality of item.
