Circulo- cloisonne enamel earrings
Description
The earrings were created using very ancient technique of enameling-Cloisonné (French-“partitions”)First Cloisonné enamel pieces were discovered around 10-11th century in Byzantine Empire.
I created this delicate design by forming fine silver wires on fine silver round frame.
Cloisonné cells were inlayed with blue and other transparent, opalescent enamels colors and fired numerous times. Than I hand polished it to a glossy surface.
At the end hand formed ear wires were attached.
The earrings measure-7/8"(22mm)-diameter;
1 1/2"(40mm)-long;
All items come in a beautiful gift box.
