The Garbage Truck Failures showcases a collection of short stories, comics and poetry by melbourne based writer James Andre. The stories cover topics like love, drug addition, sexual orientation, desperation, living close to, or below the poverty line and some of the more unsavory parts of life.

These stories are accompanied by illustrations by Brendan Halyday (creator of Sketchbook zine), who also designed the book. The Front and back cover are drawn by star graphic novelist Bobby N (creator of Withheld, Digested).

The Garbage Truck Failures features illustrations drawn in black ink using brush and pen. It is digitally printed with excellent quality reproduction on white paper with a cardstock cover.
