The string that forms the basis for this painting was based on a Celtic knot design, but obviously, it's not a Celtic Knot! I decided that it's actually rather chaotic, hence the name it ended up with.

Filled with my usual leaves, trees, fish, water, patterns, feathers, and even a key and lock, I'm often surprised myself at some of the little things that turn up in my paintings.

Painted in gorgeous colours, this detailed sketch is a form of art I've recently discovered, called Zentangles. Based on a single string (line) which forms shapes which are then filled with patterns, and either left black and white or coloured.
No pencil is used in the creation of these, they're drawn directly onto the paper with a fine art pen. There are no mistakes. Let yourself be guided by what you draw.

Painted on 300gsm (117lb) acid free paper. Signed and dated on the back, there is also a tiny signature of my initials on the front.

Measuring 14.8cm (5.8") x 21cm (8.25") - the paper is from an A5 sized art pad - this comes to you as is - no matting, no frame, just the original painting. Do with it whatever you like! It will, however, be carefully packed with some heavy board to ensure that it gets to you undamaged.
