This cute little lion is the newest addition to the Funky Friends Factory "Out of Africa" range. He’s not a very scary lion, more of a cuddly fellow, but I think he’d be brave enough to scare away the monsters under the bed at night!

RECOMMENDED FABRICS
Non-stretch fabrics eg. cotton drill, cottons, corduroy and quilting fabrics.

***Although the pattern says non-stretch fabrics, the Hippo can be also be made from fleece, but I don't think she is quite as cute as in the non-stretch fabrics which show off her naturally curvy shape! Maybe that's because it took me ages to get her looking so good in non-stretch fabrics!!! (I have included instructions on how to stitch cute little toes if she is made of fleece!)

RECOMMENDED FABRICS
Fleece, of any type, and other stretch fabrics eg. velour, chenille and flannelette.
