Round Glass Bead Poked Dots Funky Handmade Lampwork Necklace on Omega

Guy made this beautiful glass bead in his lampwork studio. He started out with dark brown glass and shaped it into a nice smooth round shape. He encased it in clear glass then added lots of large dots which he then poked for a cool three dimensional effect. He added lots of smaller periwinkle dots around the poked ones and it turned out really funky! The poked dots are left partially raised so the bead is not entirely smooth. A very funky and original bead!

I wire wrapped this lampwork bead using fine silver wire with a spiral at the bottom, sterling daisy spacers and a few dark purple Swarovski crystals. The pendant hangs from a sterling silver omega necklace and closes easily and securely with a sterling lobster clasp.

The pendant measures 41mm long. The glass bead is 20mm long and 23mm wide. The sterling silver omega necklace is 16 inches long.

Each bead is kiln annealed for strength, durability and shine. Made with care, one by one, in our lampwork studio.
