Single Tagua Nut with Chains

Description

This is a lariat style necklace made with antiqued copper chain and an orange/pumpkin colored tagua nut. The chain wraps around your neck a few times then loops through the opening in the center of the nut. (Pretty cool, huh? Thanks to Nancy for the inspiration...)

The chain is really long so there are other ways to wrap it, as shown in the photos. The tagua nut pendant is only attached to the chain on one side.

Tagua (tog-wa) Nut beads are made from the seed of a palm tree. It is an eco-friendly product that helps sustain rain forests in Ecuador by providing jobs for almost 35,000 people. It allows them to harvest a product that can be sold without having to destroy the rain forest.

NOTE: this exact necklace has been sold, but I have one more in this color available.
